I met up with Tilda for the second time (you might recognize her from the banner above, adorable baby girl dipping her hand into a watering can) and her baby sister, Ida.
Aspekt Publishing is a independent book publishing house that focuses on Czech literature, translated to Swedish. I’ve been with them since the start, and we can now proudly present the first three books, hot off the presses! I have designed the book covers, illustrated “Föräldrar och barn” and designed Aspekts website (www.aspekt.se). Read the first book review in SvD HERE. (In Swedish)
I had the honor to contribute to this year’s gold medalist for a prominent Swedish design award called Svenska Designpriset, in the category best Annual Report. The winner 2010 was Diös Fastigheter AB, and my part in this publication are the photos throughout. Look at the publication HERE.

add a comment link to this post email a friendI usually get an urge to read up on an learn new things during this time of year, and this is the pile that I’ve accumulated during the past weeks. I haven’t made it all the way through yet, right now I’m head over heels into “Makers” by Cory Doctorow. Great fiction that concerns the business climate of the present and future, and a lot of other really cool stuff.
I love photographing lovely lazy summer afternoons, capturing families and kids just hanging out, being outside, enjoying the slow passing of time together. I met up with this gorgeous family in June, just when summer was coming for real.

… it was just one of those days when everything worked out. The forecast had been for pouring rain, gale winds and more rain. If not hail. Pretty much a full-on-hurricane. I packed all my waterproofs, two umbrellas (hopeful, I know), and two extra pairs of socks. But when Saturday the 12th arrived, it was with winds alright, but no rain! Incredibly, no storm! Even a little sunshine!
Lina and Erik had chosen Storulvån, where they met, as the venue for their wedding - and what a wonderful place that is. We had a great time out on the plains for the shoot, and Lina was a very brave bride to step out into mud, bushes and all sorts of things in her gorgeous dress. Did I mention it was just above 10°C? Brave, beautiful, elegant couple - and so full of love it melted your heart!

I met up with this adorable family in early June, when I returned to Stockholm for a few days for some work. This was the third time I’ve photographed this family, and my first time meeting Mandus! We all had a fun chasing soap bubbles, digging in the sand, climbing trees and running around. Just like it should be!
… is grand. Since moving to the north of Sweden I’ve come to discover just how much I enjoy and thrive on being outdoors. I had the opportunity to really explore that feeling a few weeks back - pics will come shortly - these are a few favorites from a shoot in Åkersjön from October 2009. We arrived at the break of dawn, just in time to catch the sun climbing over the mountains and playing with the first frost of the season, turning everything pink and gold. Glorious, quiet and breathtaking.
Fashion for men, made original and fun! I had such a great day photographing different suits and the most varying shirts, with probably the most calm and patient model ever. This shoot was in collaboration with the formidable ad agency Fellowshop.
My colleage Juliana Wiklund and I had the pleasure of photographing the first collection of the dynamic sisters behind the label How To Kiss A Frog, back in 2008. I still love the feel and look of their clothes, beautifully made garments for children. We shot this early-fall-collection in February, incidentally on the ONLY snowy day that month. Not what we planned, but we made it work with running kids, fast changes and a lot of cinnamon buns!
